Аннотация

The biodiesel which is derived from vegetable oil or animal fat is an promising renewable fuel for compression ignition engine due to its emission characteristics. The computational combustion analysis is required for the prediction of the thermophysical properties of the biodiesel and its blend with petroleum diesel fuel. The vapor heat capacity is one of the most important thermal properties required for the combustion analysis. The experimentally determined vapor heat capacities of the biodiesel from the different sources are not available in the literature. For the efficient computation, the polynomial form of the equation is required for a wide temperature range. In this paper, the Lee-Kesler method is used for the determination of vapor heat capacity of the biodiesel blend. The objective of the present study is to get the vapor heat capacity of the biodiesel blend from the different feed stock in the polynomial form by regression of the tabulated data of simple fluid and deviation function from the published data.
