## CFD ANALYSIS OF HEAT TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS OF SOLAR COLLECTOR IN REAL SURROUNDING WIND FACTORS
## АннотацияThis paper is based on the estimation of parameters related
to heat losses i.e. temperature, Nusselt number and heat transfer coefficient variation from the surface of flat plate solar collector at different tilt angle of flat plate solar collector (α), wind incidence angle ( θ) at windward facing positions were captured in this paper. The average convection heat transfer coefficient h and average convection Nusselt number _{cm}Nu variations with these above mentioned parameters were presented. At different flat plate collector tilt angle (α) greatly effects the average convection heat transfer coefficient _{cm}h and average convection
Nusselt number _{cm}Nu as well, so the tilt angle of flat plate solar collector is consider as an important parameter. It has been seen that for the small values of α of flat plate collector, Nusselt number is not much sensitive to tilt angle ? at windward facing position. The effect of temperature gradient i.e. difference of temperature of plate and the ambient temperature increases along the height from bottom to top of the flat plate collector in uniform heat flux boundary condition. The effect of natural convection plays an important role in enhancing the heat transfer rate and becomes more effective as associated with Grashof (_{cm}Gr) dimensionless number, when the air flow would be at lower velocities. The supply of more heat flux at higher velocities of air flow has proven not every time beneficial for Nusselt number to increase, sometimes it only increases the
temperature of the flat plate collector, which is not desirable. The result revealed, the tilt angle of a flat plate solar collector plays a very important role during the heat transfer analysis of solar collector. |
