It allows to introduce an existence domain for the oxycarbide which was not previously forecast. For instance, at 1500 K,Ti2OC is the stable phase for oxygen partial pressures between 2.2.10 −15 and 3.9.10−12 Pa. This result opens new fields for comprehension of the carbide synthesis mechanism. %8 1997-09-30
