The results of experimental and numerical studies are presented for the case in which fuel (propane) is locally injected through a wall into a supersonic flow and interacts with a heated jet escaping from a generator located downstream. The distributions of the basic gas dynamics parameters of the air–fuel mixture in the originating high-velocity flow are obtained by the numerical method. The results obtained reveal the inner peculiarities of the originating flow and show the possibilities of developing the examined fuel combustion stabilization method in a supersonic duct. %8 2017-03-29
