AB Results of the experimental and theoretical investigations of heat transfer in the thermal protection systems of gas turbine rotors are given. The hydraulic characteristics and the boundary conditions of heat transfer in these systems are refined. Based on the investigations carried out, the thermal protection systems of typical rotors in gas-turbine plants are improved, and a new method of cooling disks is developed.
