The equations of flow through the porous medium are nonlinear and are solved for the velocity field using an analytical method, namely, the optimal homotopy asymptotic method (OHAM). The results obtained by OHAM are compared with the exact solution and a close agreement was found. Finally the graphs are plotted to discuss the effect of different parameters. %8 2013-08-14
