NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION OF THE HINGE MOMENTS OF THE NOSE LANDING GEAR DOORS IN A PASSENGER AIRCRAFT IN THE PROCESS OF OPENING

Краткое описание

The results of numerical investigations of aerodynamic loads acting on the nose landing gear doors, strut, and fuselage of a passenger aircraft are presented. The numerical investigations are based on the solution of the Reynolds-averaged Navier−Stokes equations. The dependencies of the doors' aerodynamic loads on the angles of attack and sideslip are found. The doors' retraction angles with the largest hinge moments are also determined.
