INFLUENCE OF Sn PRECIPITATION ON TEXTURE AND MORPHOLOGY OF Bi–Sn DILUTED ALLOYS

Краткое описание

We studied the correlation between the structure and microhardness of Bi–Sn alloys (tin concentration less than 2 wt.%) synthesized using rapid solidification.The X-ray diffraction analysis and other methods of grain morphology characterization showed that an increase in the tin concentration sharpens the crystalline texture. It was established that tin precipitation increases the microhardness. The mechanism based on the dislocation braking by precipitates is proposed for explanation.
