Краткое описание
The response of plankton algae found in water bodies of various types to the influence of humic acids isolated from the water of the Kanev Reservoir (Ukraine) was investigated. The concentration of humic acids introduced into the samples of natural water accounted for 2.0 and 5.0 mg/L. The influence of humus substances on the development of phytoplankton was judged from changes in its numbers and biomass, which was determined by the method of sedimentation. The peculiarities of the response of blue-green and green algae, and also of diatoms, to the influence of the studied substances were revealed.
