Краткое описание
Results of hydrological and hydrochemical monitoring carried out from July 2004 until June 2007 in the vicinity of the experimental industrial mussel farm located near the exit from Sevastopol Bay are given in the paper. Accumulation of nitrogen and phosphorus bearing organic and mineral compounds, a decrease in the value of pH, the increase in the value of BOD5, and also deterioration in the processes of production and decomposition, conditioned by the vital activity of mollusks were not revealed as a result of the performed monitoring. This fact suggests that the products of mussel metabolism income into the open sea.
