Distributed Intracellular Process Modeling Using Active Charged Particles

Краткое описание

A new method of modeling of intracellular reactions that are coordinated by proteins is discussed. Proteins are presented as locally interacting particles that can carry charges. Interactions are defined algorithmically that allows one to study the processes regardless of physical nature of protein interactions. The proposed approach was implemented as a computer modeling framework which was utilized for studying the process of protein hydrophobic core formation in water.
