Краткое описание
The self-ignition of dispersed boronorganic compounds and their compositions with liquid hydrocarbons has been investigated experimentally in air at T = 900−1600 К and P = 1−4 MPa. The exceptionally high chemical activity of carboranes has been revealed. The effectiveness of self-ignition promotion of carboranes with organic nitrates and halogenalkyls has been proved. The possibility of using carboranes and boralkyls as self-ignition promoters for hydrocarbons has been demonstrated.
