CONTROL OF SPECTRUM OF COAXIAL PHOTONIC CRYSTAL WITH MAGNETIC LAYERS
Краткое описание
The possibility of control of the stopband position in the spectrum of a magnetophotonic crystal in a coaxial design by changing the dimensions of its elements or the magnitude of an external magnetic field has been experimentally and theoretically shown. The center frequency of the stopband shifts to higher frequencies when the thickness of the photonic crystal elements decreases or the magnetic field intensity increases. The possibility of control the frequency of a defect peak in the stopband of coaxial photonic crystal by changing the magnitude of an external magnetic field has been shown. The frequency of the defect peak smoothly shifts to higher frequencies with increasing of magnetic field intensity.
