Abstract

Steam heated water bath evaporators are frequently used for the evaporation of liquefied gases with low boiling points (e. g. O2, N2, CH4, C2H4). This paper presents investigations about increasing the efficiency of such evaporators as well as some design criteria to avoid severe problems during operation.
