The algorithm and Menter's model of transfer of shear stresses are tested in a comparative analysis of predicted and experimental data for isolated dimples. The thermal efficiencies of a spherical dimple and of a two-dimensional notch on a plane wall are compared by varying their depths. %8 2008-02-08
