AB Diversity of the genus <i>Micrasterias</i> Ag. in Ukraine is discussed. Five varieties and 2 forms are first reported for the flora of Ukraine, including one new variety, <i>M. rotata</i> (Grev.) Ralfs var. <i>pseudodenticulata</i> Pal.-Mordv. var. nov., and one new combination, <i>M. rotata</i> (Grev.) Ralfs f. <i>cornufa</i> (Benn.) Pal.-Mordv. comb. nov. At present, 18 species of the genus <i>Micrasterias</i> represented by 33 varieties and 13 forms are known in the flora of Ukraine.
