Percidae in Terms of Physiological-Biochemical Parameters JF Hydrobiological Journal JO HYD YR 2017 FD 2017-08-08 VO 53 IS 3 SP 107 OP 115 K1 perch Perca fluviatilis K1 pikeperch Stizostedion lucioperca, ruff Gymnocephalus cernuus K1 absolute fertility K1 energy-intensive compounds, environmental conditions AB Reproductive characteristics, physiological and biochemical status of Percidae fishes from the water bodies of different types were investigated. The highest absolute fertility was observed in populations of perch and pikeperch from the Kakhovka Reservoir, which is subjected to the most significant anthropogenic impact. Perch and pikeperch from the water bodies with more favorable environmental conditions (the Teteriv River, the Kyiv reservoir) were characterized by higher content of total protein, lipids and glycogen in the eggs as compared with fishes from the Kakhovka Reservoir. Direct correlation between the content of energy-intensive compounds in the gonads and absolute fertility in three species of fam. Percidae was established. Considered parameters can be used for bioassay of ecological status of the water bodies and prognosis of the Percidae fishes spawning effectiveness.
