T1 Structural Characteristics of Ichthyoplankton of the Small Regulated River in the Kyiv Polissya JF Hydrobiological Journal JO HYD YR 2018 FD 2018-03-26 VO 54 IS 2 SP 55 OP 63 K1 small river K1 ichthyoplankton K1 river channel K1 pond K1 drift, spawn AB The first data on ichthyoplankton of the Koturka River (a regulated small river of the Dnipro catchment) were obtained. It was found that the most portion of the fishes' larvae settle the littoral zone of the river ponds. At the same time, some species are distributed in the pelagic zone and might be transported to the downstream ponds by drift. The ichthyoplankton structure was dynamic and changed over the season: the larvae of early spawning species (perch and roach) appeared firstly, then they were substituted by the later spawning species (bitterling and sunbleak).
