RESUMO

Data about species composition, distribution, and abundance of golden algae (Chrysophyta) in the rivers and lakes of the Irtysh River middle flow are presented. Species richness and abundance of golden algae have considerably increased in according to a mid-20th century comparison due to eutrophication and organic pollution of water bodies of Omsk Priirtyshye.
