Computational Model of Spectral Radiation Characteristics of Diesel Fuel Droplets
RESUMO
Analytical approximations that considerably simplify the method of calculation of main characteristics absorption and scattering of thermal radiation by Diesel fuel droplets were suggested. The relations obtained are convenient for the use in modern computer codes intended for calculating processes in the combustion chamber of the Diesel engine. Inaccuracy of an approximate computational model is evaluated by comparison with exact calculations by the Mie theory with an adequate description of experimental spectra of fuel absorption.
