Lipid Metabolism in Carp and Pike under Impact of Fe (III) Ions

RESUMO

The fractional composition of lipids in the gills, liver, kidneys and muscles in narp (Cyprinus carpio) and pike (Esox lucius) under the impact of 0.2 and 0.5 mg/dm3 of Fe3+ ions in water, which correspond to 2 and 5 maximal permissible concentrations, was studied. Changes in lipid content in fish tissues depended on Fe3+ ions concentration in water were species-specific.
