RESUMO
The study of the hydroecological situation in lakes of the Volyn Polesye suggests that the processes of intensive aging are registered in them. The extraction of sapropel from lakes is one of the ways of their restoration. The chemical composition of sapropel, and also a low content of radionuclides in it, make it possible to use sapropel in agriculture.
