RESUMO

Various methodical approaches to the determination of phytoplankton primary production and organic matter decomposition in water bodies differing in their trophic status and hydrological and hydrochemical conditions are analyzed and compared in the paper. The obtained data can be used in assessing productivity of aquatic ecosystems.
