Macrophytes of the Cooling Pond of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station

RESUMO

Results of the study of macrophytes of the cooling pond of the Chernobyl NPS are presented. The floristic and cenotic composition of higher aquatic vegetation, the area of thickets, the storage of the phytomass and its production, and the distribution of vegetation of various ecological groups were determined. The production of green filamentous algae was assessed.
