RESUMO
Two-dimensional laser-induced fluorescence on OH is used to measure temperature fields in a turbulent H2/air diffusion flame. A reference temperature measured in the burnt gas of a premixed H2/air flat flame was used for absolute calibration of the temperature images; this procedure reduces problems with electronic quenching, saturation and spectral line overlap, as well as technical parameters like laser sheet profiles, camera sensitivities, etc. Measurements in the flat flame burner were used to validate the experimental approach.
