Aeroacoustic interactions in turbulent jets

RESUMO

Results of an experimental investigation of the interaction of sound with subsonic and supersonic turbulent jets are presented. A wide range of problems related to the generation and development of disturbances, radiation of Mach waves by such disturbances, generation, development, interaction, and destruction of ring and oblique vortices and Taylor-Görtler vortices, sound radiation by vortices, etc., are considered using shadow photos presented in this article.
