Method of Diagnosing Radio Communication Facilities Operating in Adaptive Frequency Mode
RESUMO
The authors propose a method for increasing the reliability of estimation of the technical status of diagnosed radio communication facilities operating in adaptive frequency modes (AFM). Implementation of the method consists of simulating the interference in a radio communication channel and measuring the time for search of an optimum frequency band. The radio communication facilities are then tuned to a frequency band that is optimal for communication. The time for tuning of a transmitting-receiving path to an optimal frequency is measured. Operability of radio communication facilities operating in AFM is determined by comparing the time for tuning with the time required for response to the formed interference as well as by the quality of test sequence passing.
