要約
The USNRC's Loss-of-Fluid Test (LOFT) program has completed three large break accident simulations over a power range of zero to 100% and two small break accident simulations. The large break series has provided new information on core flow and heat transfer during blowdown. The small-break tests have provided an understanding of pressurizer behavior and drawn attention to factors affecting natural circulation and core uncovery. These tests are discussed in this paper. It is expected that additional small-break and transient tests planned for 1980 will provide more information which will be presented at the September 1930 seminar.
