The automatic and straightforward global error control procedure features inherent to this approach provide the determination of fully converged benchmark results to assess the performance of purely numerical techniques. Therefore, numerical results for the product of the Fanning friction factor—Reynolds number were produced for different values of power-law indices and aspect ratios, which were compared with previously reported results in the literature, providing critical comparisons among them and illustrating the powerfulness of the integral transform approach. %8 2001-09-01
