The first-order asymptotic equations for amplitude and phase of the soliton interacting with an isolated disturbance are obtained. The phase plane of the asymptotic system is constructed and the conditions of the soliton trapping by the external field are presented. The soliton dynamics in the field of unsteadily moving disturbance is discussed. %8 2003-10-01
