要約

Probability of autoignition inside a burner has been evaluated by means of comparing the autoignition delay time (ADT) with the residence time under the condition of ignition onset. The shorter the ADT or the greater the residence time, the higher the probability of the onset of ignition. Four chemical kinetics mechanisms, namely, GRI-mech 3.0, Konnov, CRECK, NG III (of 235–2642 equations and of 53–293 components) have been attracted for evaluating the autoignition temperature (AIT) to obtain the most adequate and reliably estimated one. Some empirical generalizations for ADT were used as well. An analysis of proper data has shown that increase in combustion air humidity would increase the ADT and reduce probability of the onset of autoignition.
