要約

In the present article we develop a computational homogenization approach for multilayer composite laminates within the framework of the equivalent single layer theory. The proposed method is a special case of the computational continua approach developed previously by the authors. By this approach, scale-separation-free homogenization is carried through the thickness of the finite-thickness laminate. The proposed formulation is verified against the direct numerical simulation for laminated beam and plate bending problems, and compared to the continuum shell and composite solid elements in Abaqus.
