NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THE AERODYNAMIC PERFORMANCE OF A MICRO AIR VEHICLE
要約
The numerical simulation results of the modern mini air vehicles (MAVs) with low−aspect ratio wing at moderate Reynolds number are presented. Given in this article is a comparison of numerical and experimental investigations of the aerodynamic characteristics and flow around various MAV configurations, as well as around a propeller with sting in wind tunnel test conditions, and MAVs with propeller. These results have been obtained at Re = 105 for a wide range of angles of attack. The computations were carried out based on the solution of the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations using the k−ω SST turbulence model to close them. The comparison of the calculated aerodynamic characteristics of MAVs with experimental data shows their satisfactory agreement.
