APPROBATION OF A CONTINUOUS BALANCE TESTING TECHNIQUE IN THE T-128 TRANSONIC WIND TUNNEL AT SUBSONIC VELOCITIES
要約
The results of investigations on the convergence of experimental data obtained in continuous and pitch-pause modes in a T-128 transonic wind tunnel at subsonic velocities are reported. Various issues associated with Mach number stabilization in the test section and evaluation of the effect of dynamic characteristics of measurement channels on data accuracy under continuous pitch mode conditions are discussed. The results of approbation of the continuous balance testing technique for pitch angle variations at a rate of 0.3° per second for Mach numbers M = 0.4 and 0.85 are presented. Statistically reasonable agreement between the results of the pitch-pause and continuous balance experiments is observed for a non-separated flow.
