ONE DIMENSIONAL MODELLING OF THE INTERACTION OF ARGON ARC WITH A TUNGSTEN CATHODE
要約
This paper is devoted to the presentation of an interaction model developed to assume the conservation of the main physical properties between the cathode material and the plasma medium in presence of an electric arc. In a first step the model is presented. The rule of the secondary emission and its influence at low temperatures is demonstrated. Then the model results are compared with theoretical and experimental ones giving the drop voltage evolution versus the current intensity. Due to fact that currently the model is only at one dimension, the comparison is made with a simple configuration at low values of the current intensity. A good agreement is found with the experimental results on the drop voltage evolution and on the power transmitted to the cathode.
