Radiation-Convection Heat Transfer in the Problems of Screening Electomagnetic Fields by a High-Enthalpy Boundary Layer

要約

Heat and mass transfer in chemically reacting high-enthalpy boundary layers is caused not only by the dissociation reactions of ablation vapors at the atomic-molecular level, but also by the kinetics of high-rate gas-phase reactions between the ablation vapors of heat shield and the main stream components. The generators of electromagnetic radiation with the frequency whose order of magnitude coincides with the constant reaction rate value is evaluated. By creating a kind of a sublayer in the boundary layer in the form of local volumetric zones, it is possible not only to prevent the radiation heat transfer, but also to shield an efficient radio signal.
