Critical Conditions For the Continuous Liquid Film Flow along a Conical Surface

An experimental study has been carried out for liquid film flow along a curvilinear surface, the film breakdown and the formation of rivulets. Correlations are obtained for critical Reynolds numbers corresponding to the onset of film rupture and for a dimensionless width of the rivulets.
