Grid Technologies in Monotoring Systems Based on Satellite Data

Consideration is given to conceptual foundations of Grid system development aimed at the Earth observation data processing. Different approaches to creation of such Grid systems are analyzed and justified, different scientific problems related to development of Grid systems are formulated. A model of Grid system for satellite data processing is proposed. The experience obtained during the development of Grid system for satellite data processing in Space Research Institute NASU−NSAU is discussed.
