ATMOSPHERIC RADIO ACOUSTIC SOUNDING SYSTEMS WITH CONTROLLED ARRAY ANTENNAS. PART 2: DIFFRACTION PROBLEM
要約
Radio Acoustic Sounding Systems (RASS) with controlled array antennas demonstrate the feasibility of wind shear compensation, and thus open an opportunity for implementation of these systems into the meteorological observations. Here we present a problem solution for the diffraction of electromagnetic waves scattered by the atmospheric dielectric irregularities due to the passage of the acoustic waves. This solution considers the peculiarities of such a RASS. The equations for the signal received by a separate element of array antenna have been obtained. The relations obtained are the base for the further analysis of the design systems, sounding techniques, development of algorithms to RASS controls, as well as the signal processing.
