It has been found that epiphyton algae occurring in the fouling of hydrophytes differed from those observed in the fouling of helophytes in the pattern of accumulation of the studied radionuclides. For the most part phytoepiphyton accumulated larger amounts of radionuclides as compared to higher aquatic plants.
