In winter, the G6PDH activity in Mytilus galloprovincialis increased by 20−60% during 48 h exposure to air as compared to the control level, but, on the contrary, in summer this enzymic activity decreased by 30−40%. When the mussels were kept at 5 and 15°C, the G6PDH activity recovered to a control level in 24 hours. Dynamics of the protein contents was opposite to the dynamics of the G6PDH activity. %8 2000-10-01
