AB Two compounds possessing estrogenic activity were isolated from the mycelia of a medicinal fungus, <i>Cordyceps ophioglossoides</i>. These compounds were identified as ethyl (<i>E</i>)-8-oxo-9-oactadecenoate and 4-(2-hydroxyethyl) phenol, respectively.
