AB Results of parasitological studies of more than 3000 specimens of gammarids from the water bodies and streams of the north-east Poland are presented. Microsporidians (Pleistophora muelleri, Nosema pontogammari) and gregarines (Cephaloidophora sp., Uradiophora ramosa) were registered in four (Gammarus fossarum, G. pulex, Obesogammarus crassus, Pontogammarus robustoides) of 12 investigated species of gammarids, which belong to the native Boreal, Ponto-Caspian and North American faunistic groups. Infestation rate did not exceed 3%. All indicated species of microparasites were regustered in Poland for the first time. Transition of parasites of the Ponto-Caspian hosts to the hosts of native fauna was not registered.
