The influences of liquid velocity and subcooling on the boiling curve were experimentally inspected. The experiments indicated that the flow boiling characteristics are quite different from that in normally sized tubes. The flow boiling heat transfer was intensified greatly, and there did not exist the apparent partial nucleate boiling for subcooled flow boiling, i.e., boiling was induced much earlier in micro-channels.
