The LHPs were equipped with a flat-oval evaporator (the thick is 7 mm, length including the compensation chamber is 80 mm and width is 42 mm) with one-sided heat supply. The influence of cooling temperature on the LHP operating characteristics was a central issue of this research. The condenser was cooled by water with temperatures from 20 to 80°C. The heat load varied in the range from 20 to 600 W. A mathematical model for prediction the LHP operating temperature was developed. It takes into the consideration three operation modes of the loop heat pipe. The paper presents simulation results and their analysis. %8 0000-00-00
