An auxiliary exact electrodynamic solution is obtained for an open comb. This solution is a result of incidence of a set of waves on the comb surface both from the free space and on the inside of slotted waveguides. The electrical field of this solution is expressed to be with a high accuracy in terms of the quasi-static solution obtained in the first part of the series of papers. So-called higher auxiliary solutions which correspond to the case of equal potentials on the open comb plates are considered. The solutions for specific slow-wave structures can be found in the form of the linear combination of all these auxiliary solutions. %8 2005-10-10
