Theoretical and experimental studies of wave processes in soils are elucidated. Mathematical formulations and results of numerical solutions are presented for the underground densifying detonation of a cylindrical infinite charge in a water-unsaturated soil (multicomponent viscoplastic soil with variable viscosity) and a charge of finite length in a water-saturated soil (nonlinear elastic medium).
