ABSTRACT

Quality assessment of the sea-water from Nakhodka Bay was conducted using the diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum. It was revealed that values of cell number, the content of chlorophyll α and carotenoids in the microalgae from the tested water deviated from those of the control in all seasons of the study. The length/ width ratio of algal cells was nearly the same as in the control.
