ABSTRACT

The paper is dedicated to consideration of wind gusts as the strong irregularities in measured velocity of the wind. A technique for estimating the velocity of gusty wind is described. Proposed approach is based on extension of the averaging time interval for the recorded data. Statistical validity of discussed technique is proven.
