Calculation of the Long-Term Data Distribution of Wind by Means of Anemometric Research

A problem of calculation of a long-term wind distribution is solved by the method of correlation rhumbs. The method lies in determination of correlation function between current wind velocity data to various directions of a basic meteorological station and a lot of confidence stations and transformation of the known long-term wind distribution for confidence stations to long-term wind distribution for the basic station by obtained correlation function. The basic meteorological station is located in a designed wind turbine position and confidence stations are chosen from the nearest meteorological stations of meteorological service. An example how it works is shown in the paper.
